Near to Johannesburg, is the small African City Koster and the company Jones Masjiene. The company is a supplier of feeding equipment for the farming, milling and feed industry. In this case Jones Masjiene knows the effects of global warming. And has installed 4 DEGERtracker D100 systems as part of their plan to combat climate change. The four DEGERtracker D100 units were installed in October 2015.The completed system has an output of 42.84 kWp and generated around 35000 MWh of solar energy in the first three months. The expected of annual production will be 2600 kWh/kWp.
With 35 tons of CO2 emissions that won’t be released into the atmosphere, Jones Masjiene is making an important contribution to the solution for climate change.
