In the region of Evros, in northeastern Greece, a new solar power plant with a total capacity of 1 MW using DEGER S100-SR single axis solar tracking systems was connected to the grid in September 2020.
In the project, which was completed in the area of Ammovounos, 37 DEGER S100-SR single axis trackers were installed. This consists of 33 trackers carrying 72 solar modules, while the other 4 are carrying 56 solar modules each with 385 Wp power.
The investor of the project, who trusted DEGER, is expected to produce 30% more energy than the comparable solar parks using fixed structures located in the nearby areas.
This is mainly due to the technological superiority of the exclusive DEGER technology, Maximum Light Detection (MLD).
